UtilityPal Terms & Conditions

UtilityPal is an independent business providing high-quality utility solutions. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to UtilityPal throughout these Terms & Conditions.

By accessing or using the UtilityPal website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. General Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review them periodically.

All products sold by UtilityPal are intended for professional installation and use in accordance with local regulations.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the information provided is accurate and complete.

2. Products and Pricing

All products are sourced from reputable manufacturers and provided with accurate specifications for reference.

Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) by default.
We also offer pricing in US Dollars (USD) and Euros (EUR) via the on-site currency converter.
VAT is included in ZAR pricing unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without prior notice.

Product availability is subject to stock. If an item is unavailable after ordering, we will notify you promptly.

3. Order Confirmation

All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by UtilityPal.

Once an order is placed and payment is verified, a confirmation email with your order details will be sent.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order suspected to be fraudulent, inaccurately priced, or submitted due to technical errors.

4. Payment

We support secure online payments via our approved and trusted third-party payment processors, including PayPal.

Your payment and card details are encrypted and processed in accordance with industry-standard PCI DSS compliance.

Please note: While our website allows you to browse prices in USD or EUR using the currency converter, all transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) at checkout.


This applies to all payment methods, including PayPal. Any necessary currency conversion will be handled by your bank, card issuer, or PayPal based on your account settings.

Orders are only fulfilled once full payment has been received and successfully verified.

By completing a purchase, you agree to our payment terms and authorize UtilityPal and our payment partners to process your transaction.

5. Delivery

We offer worldwide delivery, including across South Africa and internationally.

Courier charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order size/weight.

Estimated delivery times:

  • South Africa: 2–5 business days

  • International (outside South Africa): 7–21 business days (subject to customs and courier conditions)

A tracking number will be sent once your order has been dispatched.
UtilityPal is not liable for courier delays or customs-related issues in international territories.

6. Liability & Product Use

All products must be installed by a qualified professional, such as a licensed electrician, plumber, or certified technician, in compliance with local safety and regulatory standards.

UtilityPal will not be held responsible for malfunctions or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including financial losses or operational downtime, resulting from product use.

Defective products may qualify for replacement under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, subject to assessment and verification.

7. Warranty & Returns

Strictly No Refunds. Please ensure all purchases are correct at the time of ordering, as all sales are final. UtilityPal does not accept returns due to incorrect purchases.

We generally do not accept returns. However, due to high stock turnover, there may be rare cases where an item you've ordered is no longer in stock. In such instances, we will issue a full refund and notify you immediately.

Replacements are only offered for items that fall within the warranty period and are confirmed as faulty by our technical team.


Faulty products must be returned to our head office in Cape Town, South Africa, for assessment.

The warranty excludes damage due to mishandling, incorrect installation, external/environmental factors, or non-compliance with manufacturer instructions.
