Description:
The UtilityPal IOTPulse turns an existing water or gas meter into a smart, remotely read meter. It connects to the meter’s pulse output, counts the pulses from the register and transmits the readings over the Sigfox low-power network, so consumption can be monitored from anywhere without site visits or manual reads. A 5 200 mAh lithium battery gives up to 10 years of service, the reporting interval is configurable to suit the application, and the IP66 enclosure with an external antenna copes with meter boxes, chambers and plant rooms. Because the readings arrive on a fixed interval, continuous-flow and leak conditions show up immediately — making the IOTPulse a quick, low-cost retrofit for municipalities, estates, body corporates and commercial landlords that want automated metering without replacing meters.
