The Sensus MeiTwin is a compound bulk water meter with MID approval, designed for cold water applications up to 50 °C and rated to PN 16, available in DN 50, DN 65, DN 80, and DN 100. Its unique in-line design positions the main meter and by-pass meter sequentially, eliminating the need to differentiate left or right bypass configurations. With an integrated flow straightener, the MeiTwin requires no straight pipe upstream or downstream (U0D0), offering installation flexibility. Its removable 3-in-1 metrological unit—comprising the main meter, changeover valve, and by-pass meter—enables cost-effective calibration updates. The main meter features a hydrodynamically balanced rotor, while the by-pass meter uses a high-precision 612MTW-HRI piston cartridge with IP68 protection and a plug-in non-return valve, allowing measurement of flow rates as low as 6 l/h.
