Description:
The Sensus HRI-Mei is a retrofittable data capture device for MeiStream and MeiTwin MID bulk water meters. It scans the register pointer inductively (load-free) and provides a high-resolution, bounce-free electronic pulse output with flow-direction detection, plus an M-Bus / MiniBus data interface for remote reading. Pulse weight, mode and pulse length are programmable on site, so one device replaces the classic Reed and Opto pulsers and feeds remote counters, PLC/SCADA inputs, data loggers, radio modules such as the PulseRF and M-Bus or GSM fixed networks. It fits all MeiStream standard registers and can be mounted afterwards without breaking the meter seal.
