Description:
The KoCoS ME15.1S DIN LiMo 4G/LTE Modem is a standalone, DIN rail-mountable modem designed to provide remote connectivity for energy meters and devices with RS232/RS485 serial or Ethernet ports. Powered by an ARM9 CPU running Linux, it supports full networking, file system access, and cloud-based metering for remote data collection.
Supporting 4G/LTE with signal strength indication, the ME15.1S implements TCP server/client modes and multiple meter protocols, including IEC 62056-21, DLMS, Modbus RTU/TCP, OSGP, and KMP. It also supports IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTP, and HTTPS, making it ideal for data push applications and cloud integration. Advanced features include Python scripting for user logic, over-the-air firmware updates, and remote management via SSH or web calls. With robust surge protection and a wide operating temperature range, it is suitable for industrial and commercial energy monitoring applications.
