⚠ How you read this water meter
This water meter has wireless M-Bus built in – no calculator or extra module is needed for it to transmit. What you do need is something to receive that radio signal:
Remote / AMI reading: an Engelmann ComStar wireless M-Bus gateway, which forwards readings over LTE-M. One gateway collects many devices on a site, so you do not need one per meter – order it separately once per building.
Walk-by reading: a wireless M-Bus USB stick or Bluetooth receiver. Ask us for a quote.
If you already have a ComStar or a walk-by receiver on site, this water meter is all you need.
 
Description:
The Engelmann WaterStar M is a radio-integrated electronic single-jet water meter for apartments, sub-metering and utility billing. Inductive impeller scanning, a 360° rotatable display and integrated 868 MHz wireless M-Bus radio (OMS) make it suitable for walk-by or fully automatic meter reading with the Engelmann ComStar gateway. Available for cold water (30 °C) or warm water (90 °C) in the common installation lengths.
