⚠ How you read this heat cost allocator
This heat cost allocator has wireless M-Bus built in – no calculator or extra module is needed for it to transmit. What you do need is something to receive that radio signal:
Remote / AMI reading: an Engelmann ComStar wireless M-Bus gateway, which forwards readings over LTE-M. One gateway collects many devices on a site, so you do not need one per meter – order it separately once per building.
Walk-by reading: a wireless M-Bus USB stick or Bluetooth receiver. Ask us for a quote.
If you already have a ComStar or a walk-by receiver on site, this heat cost allocator is all you need.
Description:
The Engelmann HCA e2 is an electronic heat cost allocator for radiators with integrated wireless M-Bus radio (OMS), used to split heating costs fairly between apartments. It stores 132 monthly and half-monthly values, supports 1- or 2-sensor operation with a clip-on remote sensor, and can be read walk-by or through an AMR gateway such as the Engelmann ComStar. Sold in the manufacturer order unit of 40 devices per box (heat conductors and remote sensors available on request).
