The UtilityPal UP-LRR is an industrial LoRa wireless repeater. It extends LoRa coverage between field devices and the gateway where distance, terrain, basements or building structure break the link, relaying the LoRa frame exactly as it was received.
Several repeaters can be cascaded for wide-area coverage, and automatic routing picks the best relay path. Deep sleep current of 10 uA suits battery and solar-powered sites, and the IP65 aluminium housing with wide voltage input allows outdoor mounting. Commissioning is done on site from a mobile app over Bluetooth 5.0, so no laptop or site network is needed. Supplied on EU868 for South Africa.
What you need for a complete, working system
A repeater does not collect data on its own. It relays traffic between your LoRa meters or sensors and a LoRa gateway - see the UtilityPal UP-LRG Industrial LoRa Gateway. Add repeaters only where a site check shows devices falling outside gateway range.
